Avenue Ramp to Northbound I-380 Closed Tonight

Construction work
will require closure of the 33rd Avenue ramp to northbound Interstate
380 on Monday, June 21, weather permitting, according to the Iowa
Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Cedar Rapids construction office.
The closure is expected to be in effect from 7 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m.
on Tuesday, June 22. Drivers should use alternate routes during this
closure.
The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey posted speed
limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines
for moving violations can more than double in work zones. As in all
work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between
vehicles and wear seat belts
