Red
Cedar Chamber Music Slated for Local Concerts

The Red Cedar Chamber Music and special guests will present free
"Chamber Music Now!" concerts Tuesday, July 8, featuring tuneful early
19th-century and modern chamber music by Jewish composers.
A Music for Seniors performance will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, July 8,
beginning at 2 p.m. at Summit Pointe Senior Living Community, 3505
English Glen Ave., in Marion.
A free evening performance, open to the public, will be held at Cole
Library at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday
night.
Linn-Mar High School students violist Alyssa Roggow, violinist Madeline
Krych and cellist Blake Tchon will join Red Cedar Chamber Music flutist
Jan Boland and guitarist John Dowdall for the events.
Red Cedar’s "Chamber Music Now!" program gives exceptionally talented
high school and college students an opportunity to rehearse and perform
with seasoned professional musicians.
The concerts are sponsored by the James and Norma Jean Rosborough
Foundation, the Giacoletto Foundation, the City of Marion and Rockwell
Collins with additional support from Nancy Miller.
