Swimmer, Jordan Huff, Shines at Trials

OMAHA — Jordan Huff, a senior at Dubuque Senior High School, swam Wednesday in the
United States Swimming Olympic Trials and moved up dramatically in the
100-meter freestyle prelims.
Huff, the 70th best qualifier with a seed time of 51.19, finished tied
for 46th among 130 entrants in the 100-meter freestyle in 50.43. That
time eclipsed the Iowa Record, previously held by Olympian Craig Oppel.
Huff, who swims for Dubuque Senior High and DASH in Dubuque, is looking
forward to competing at the Junior National Championships in August.
