Woman Injured in Hwy 13 Motorcycle Accident Posted 2 July 2008 Brandy Marie Gibson, 21, of Shell Rock, was operating a Polaris motorcycle in Central City Saturday morning, June 28, when she struck a motorcycle driven by Andrew James Bergmann, 22, of Waverly. The Iowa State Patrol reports Bergmann, who was northbound on Highway 13 on his Harley-Davidson, slowed to make a right-hand turn when he was struck from behind by Gibson, who did not see him slowing. Gibson was injured in the incident and was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
