"The Gondoliers" Set for Tonight at Brucemore Posted 28 June 2008 Last night, officials called off opening night of "The Gondoliers" at Brucemore's outdoor stage, 2160 Linden Dr. SE, Cedar Rapids, shortly before 8 p.m. due to threatening skies full of storm clouds. Gilbert and Sullivan's comic operetta, staged by the Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre's Young Artists, will be presented tonight, Saturday, and tomorrow, Sunday at 8 p.m. Last night's tickets will be honored at either performance this weekend.
