Tasered, Faces Several Charges

The Manchester Police
Department reports that around 10:30 PM Thursday, August 12 Manchester
Police officers were called to several locations around the city in an
attempt to locate a subject who was threatening harm with a weapon to
other family members. Police searched for the suspect in the West
Butler and South Madison Street areas and did locate the suspect.
According to reports the suspect was acting in an aggressive manner to
police officers and refused orders to surrender to police. Police
deployed the TASER unit and the suspect was immediately incapacitated
and taken into custody without further incident. There were no injuries
to officers or the suspect as a result.
Arrested in the incident was Jamie Lee Cole, Age 28, last known address
on West Marion Street in Manchester, charged with Assault on a Peace
Officer, Going Armed with Intent, Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct
and Interference with official acts.
Cole was taken to the Delaware County Jail.
